How cool is this? Take a child’s doodle and make it into a stuffed version. I love it! Now if I just had $250 to spare. But hey, if you have the money, check it out

Some of my spare time is spent crocheting. It’s one of my many hobbies that has actually stuck. I’ve made a couple of these yarn monkeys as well as a few other animals.
I’m glad that my nephew has been enjoying his monkey. It has become his lovie at the moment. My daughter never really had much interest in hers, but maybe the next baby will like his.

We recently finished my daughter’s big girl room. It turned out great, but in the beginning we were confronted with a big problem, wallpaper. There was a horrible IU Hoosiers border going around the room. This wouldn’t be so bad, but we have textured walls and from our experience in other rooms, we knew this would be no easy task. What were we to do?
The answer was to just simply cover it up. We went to Lowes and bought what was supposed to be base board and made a big ol’ chair rail. It came out beautifully. And to think that if we hadn’t been so lazy, we may have never come up with this idea in the first place.
